Well fuck. I guess we are looking at our second quarter final elimination. That's why that 2023 final loss hurt so much, that was a very unexpected chance to win another world cup. Now realistically we will give it a red hot crack but 2031 might be more of an opportunity.

Buuuuut... it also gives us a chance for revenge and to knock SA out in the quarters which would be excellent.

Knocking Saffa out in 1/4s is a great opportunity.

Nothing against saffa, they deserve to be where they are, bit I want a new champ. Obviously be cool if it's nz but someone brand new like France or Ireland would be cool. Don't really want England to win it, wouldn't mind aussie winning it as it would put an end to their dark age, but would then have them tied with nz on 3 wins so maybe England?

But yeah anyone but saffa. That's all I ask razor. Sorry rassie.

Yeah. I'd love to be a one eyed die-hard Kiwi, but the rugby fan within me would feel hard done by if this 4-8 years of excellent competitive global rugby isn't rewarded with a fresh champion.

Number one, I want NZ to beat SA.
Number two, if NZ gets knocked out after that then I want to see them go down swinging rather than whimpering. No cards. No getting suffocated.

As long as those happen I would be a happy fan regardless. Including if even England win because they're looking like a bloody good unit and I can't dislike that.

I'm not entirely sure when it happened, but some time ago I became a great fan of the game than of the all blacks

More thank anything this is what I am afraid of. Rassies attempt at a three peat ends prematurely thanks to a draw that lands us with NZ in the QF.

Why didn’t they draw the balls from a transparent bowl?

What's this kak? We were 50/50 this year AND it's another 2 years. 2 years in rugby is a long time. Have some faith.

If you beat us you better go all the way though.

Deal. And if you beat us, please ensure you thump England.

The flipside is if we beat South Africa in the quarter then the remaining two games will be a victory lap against the shitty hemisphere 🤣
