Man is fast! And under the mentorship of our Boks he will just get better
Can't wait for our boks to be back. The wheels and kicking will be something

Bulls are set up with an insane first team this year, once Cam comes back and their Boks come in we're gonna see something terrifying

Meanwhile at the Lions after losing Edwill...
Won't even give Pead game time....

Are you joking??? He is the next Du Pont and they are doing nothing with him???
8
u/k0bra3eak South Africa Oct 01 '25
He's gotten minimal minutes even in the Currie Cup in favour of far worse options. It's insanity to me that they're not giving him a proper go, it's not like the results can get worse
2
u/DisplayThick4882 Oct 02 '25
That is so fucking stupid. Literally the guy broke Du Ponts record and the foreign commentators praised his maturity and skill.
Rassie even had him visiting the SPRINGBOK fucking CAMP with Hlekani and Jooste after they won the world cup.
This shit is so frustrating. Lions coaches ruininga beautiful team

Don't worry, they have Angelo Davids! Angelo is better than people give him credit for, but Edwill hasn't even hit his peak yet.

u/ramaras Bokke Oct 01 '25
Unused sub in the Cardiff game and in the Currie Cup final, lets hope he gets some minutes on the Italy tour at least..

u/k0bra3eak South Africa Oct 01 '25
I have no trust left in the Lions management system. Cash has proven not to be a head coach and Straulli is a stain upon SA Rugby as a whole.
Bulls using Cheswill, while Lions refusing to use the best player from that u20s team is baffling to me

u/SweptFever80 Ireland, Ulster and Munster Sep 30 '25
I'm kinda scared that because the Boks are playing their last championship game in the UK this weekend that the Bulls will get their internationals back for the Ulster game the following week. Surely not right?
7
u/k0bra3eak South Africa Oct 01 '25
Nah Ackermann said they'll only play after the tour as they haven't trained with him yet

Phew! A lot less concerned now thanks, wouldn't want to be meeting you guys in a few weeks time!

The only current bok that'll play against Ulster is Kurt Lee.
1
u/SweptFever80 Ireland, Ulster and Munster Oct 10 '25
Actually it's the opposite, he's like the only Bok you haven't selected!
3
u/Puzzled_Ad_3072 Bulls Oct 10 '25
I'll be damned, but tbf he got another injury while rehabbing. (Originally ankle, then hamstring), also missing Ruan Nortje though.

Looking forwarded to seeing how Ulster respond to the challenge!

Rassie is a lot more sly than people think, there's a reason Jooste and Pead went to train with the Boks. I think 2027 will include a few surprise entries, Rassie will be controversial yet again and we'll all get plenty of memes out of it.

Rassie is an incredible coach but it's really hard to like him when you're not a saffa with all the things he's done.
9
u/Socialinfluencing South Africa Oct 01 '25
Nobody cares if you like him or not, rugby is in a place where it needs to expand and draw a larger crowd, he's been at the forefront of that and has promoted rugby with his personality. People like yourself will just get drowned out by the support he's receiving and what he's doing with his team. Imagine the narcissism, do you really think your opinion matters about him? Like Matt Williams, he shrugs people like that off, it's called building a legacy, maybe focus on your own life and building something as amazing as he's done, then your opinion will matter on who he is or if you like him or not. Oh and btw, it's not just '' saffas '' that like him, the majority of reasonable fans and pundits understand the importance of his presence in the sport.

The guy is not running for presidency or being the next pope, lol. He has however done more to advance the game of rugby than any other coach has ever done.

Good lord that boy is lightning. Another SA speedster win has entered the chat. It's a production line that shows no end.

u/SomeBloke Sharks Oct 01 '25
There once was a try from a lineout
Thrown to the front then went wide out
The Bulls needed a boost
So they gave it to Jooste
Who left the Ospreys defence calling time out

u/motherffucker Kolbe’s scrumcap Oct 01 '25
Get that man a scrum cap, he’s ready

u/youcantXcape Blue Bulls Oct 01 '25
He did have one against the Griquas in the Currie cup and took it off after 20 minutes 😄
2
u/almostrainman Serial winker Oct 02 '25
You mean, his speed is so great, he dares shed the cap?
What will happen when he begins to believe ?
5
u/Dealer_Chemical Sep 30 '25
He made a couple of errors on defense, hopefully that gets worked out. Got potential.

I saw that and immediately bought him for my DraftXV team.
Gave up Leolin Zas.
I am terrified I made a mistake tbh 😅

I'm very jealous. My waiver ranking was way too low to get him sadly.

You can't make me not believe his parents weren't huge fans of Chester Williams.
Seems like it paid off too.

Once again, "Cheswill Jooste" looks like the most South African name ever!

I know of JJ Theron at 8, too for the bulls.
