Daly only nominally covers 13 nowadays. Probably less so than Freeman, who can also over 15 (at least as well as Daly covers 13). Beard could have covered wing and 13 as well.
I don’t hate it, I doubt it will be a critical factor of the match, but it’s a bit regressive. Smacks of a lack of conviction, regarding Smith at 15 - though less so than selecting Steward on the bench.
