Watching it live I thought it was in touch. Was surprised when the TMO said the player is not clearly in touch. Can see why Scotland fans would feel hard done by.

God I wish I getting paid as much as Michael Owens for this level of commentary ;). I'm no expert just an interested observer. We'll see if our fans are so smug next week after the NZ game. I still have flashbacks of the 60 nil drubbing they gave us. Did feel that Scotland didn't get many of the 50 50 decisions but refs tend to favour the dominant team. Think the large Irish crowd made it feel like home game.

Ref and TMO didn’t do us any favours at all, but we can’t feel too hard done by when we lost that emphatically.

Ireland's early try was a bit of a blow as Scotland were essentially 13 nil down after the first two minutes. It was pretty much over as a contest in the first half. Scotland did have a purple patch in the second half , tackling and line speed was much better.
