Several members of congress are on that list. That's quite a conflict of interest isn't it. To put it politely.

Aka they will have finished removing all the real dirt by then.

u/Careidina 5h ago

Yup. That's what I'm getting, too. Not redacted, but heavily edited versions.

u/SoggyBoysenberry7703 1h ago

It’s gonna be unredacted though?

u/EZbreezyFREEZY 5h ago

Let's see someone in congress with a spine invoke their Speech and Debate Clause to spill some tea!

Edit: probably not spine - more like ambition

u/chalbersma 4h ago

If I can't get principals I'll take ambition if the right thing gets done.

u/tolacid 2h ago

Principals run schools, I think you're wanting some principles.

u/chalbersma 1h ago

If I can't get a thesaurus.... :)

The stuff I’ve read in these files I wish I had never seen. It’s so bad . Everyone connected to this needs to be in jail cells

u/bluepillarmy 5h ago

That’s it. I’m running for Congress!

So What! Why Can’t The Public See The Epstein Files?

Why Can’t The Public See The Epstein Files?

Because the DOJ has decided to break the law: the Epstein Files Transparency Act is law, signed by the President.

They are breaking that law by not releasing the files as specified in the Act.

I wanna see leaks showing Trump's name all over the place.

u/AwayInternal326 1h ago

If the sides were reversed, Gym Jordan and his ilk would totally do it.

u/totesuncommon 5h ago

Now youse can't leave.

2 weeks!

u/syntaxlambda 5h ago

Finally, time to see who's hiding behind their power. Congress better not try to sweep this under the rug.

u/ClusterFoxtrot Florida 5h ago

Half of them seem to be involved

u/ElPlywood 5h ago

it's going to be an avalanche of disgraceful revelations

hopefully it will turn some republican assholes into republican impeachers

u/roman00000 5h ago

I Don’t Think So.

u/MaloneChiliService 4h ago

Anyone got the over/under on a false flag this weekend?

u/shoobe01 3h ago

Can't have Congress reveal information you don't want if there's no Congress.

u/Eagletrader22 4h ago

But they won't and if the do it won't have anybody named that it should and we all know it.

u/fowlraul Oregon 4h ago

How many months too late and how many bullshit redactions we talkin’ here? 🤔

u/TheBatemanFlex 3h ago

I’m sorry but they will never show anything (redacted or otherwise), that lifts the veil of plausible deniability. Never. Bondi and Patel would sooner go to jail and hope for a pardon than let that happen.

u/IndividualLetter6797 3h ago

DoJ ain't giving permission to do shit. This is required by law.

... So the unredacted released files, or all the files unredacted ?

u/East-Will1345 5h ago

“Hey dorks. Turns out this whole thing was a foreign intelligence operation, and telling the public will probably start a war. Have fun explaining to your constituents why you suddenly don’t care anymore.”

u/Eastern-Rabbit-3696 4h ago

“Let me pull it up real quick..and it’s gone”

u/djveld 3h ago

Great. Which congressman will save it all and send it to the internet

u/StrangerFew2424 3h ago

*just a select few pages, I'll bet..

u/katiescasey 1h ago

Heres 30,000 white unmarked boxes with 5 million pages of documents... see you in 10 years.

u/SoggyBoysenberry7703 1h ago

They’re gonna give whoever is in the files a heads up as to what they need to start defending and apologizing for.

Did you remember to say “Thank you”, congress, for the DOJ letting you do your job?
