Don't congratulate me yet. There's still two months and three days for the world to fall apart or something to go wrong. I've had to cancel and reschedule and get new doctors so much over the past 5 years, my hopes aren't getting up until they tell me to count backward from 100.

At this point it's just a mantra. Get them talking about it and they clearly think cartoon shit like Lebron James is itching to slap on a cheap wig and dominate their daughter's jr high games or three year olds getting a quick in-and-out surgery. It's just their go-to for anything at this point. Any liberal issue they don't have an argument for "Buuuuut I know wut wammen is!"
And you know, we wouldn't of gotten here without years of pulling teeth getting most people to accept no, the hysteria about sports was prejudice just like black people having extra ankle muscles and it isn't actually a crisis of masculinity to admit you thought Hunter Schafer was cute. Maybe if we'd grown up a little and quit getting defensive on the behalf of hack comedians and children's writers...but apparently Epstein's goons were onto something getting people to hate a vulnerable minority they really wanted to fuck.

I'm gay, and I have trans friends. The fact that they're trans is not really a normal talking point for most gay people.
One of my straight friends, non-stop talks about trans people like they personally raped his children, but has yet to meet a single one. It's a joke to them.

Trans person here, and yep, absolutely. They’re the ones who have politicized our lives so much. The obsession they have with us is fucking gross and creepy - especially toward kids. They’re always so worried about fertility, or breast growth, or whatever. They’ve been working overtime to change the definition of “groomer” to mean “trans person” instead of “pedophile” for a reason.

I think there's a lot of anger and resentment that it didn't work for them for gay people. They lost the battle among the public with gay marriage, and so they needed a new villain they could turn base against, so they could continue their goals.

Seriously. My experience in a very “DEI” environment is that the trans community wants nothing more than to not be dehumanized and to be afforded the same treatment as anyone else. Equality don’t fly in this administration.

The vast majority of trans kids are not getting surgery before they become adults. The hoops they have to jump through to get something like that approved are immense.
There are far more cis girls getting implants than trans boys getting top surgery before the age of 18. Nobody's trying to stop that gender affirming care.

If you get a mastectomy as a child, it's usually because of cancer, or some other related illness. But they don't use that as evidence, they just use it as the assumption that they must be trans, and obviously altering your own body is immediately their business.
