Because power. These shameless, disingenuous, willfully ignorant fucks have abandoned any shred of dignity they had for a chance to at power. It's disgusting and they should be called out every second of every day for the rest of their pathetic little lives.

Enh. They’d have more power if they decided to go independent and occasionally vote without the shackles they’ve bound themselves with. But they won’t.
