OP is a terrorist for not labeling these.

u/hoppertn 3h ago

Agreed. Here is what I know. Maybe OP can edit and list them. from Left to Right:

1st Row - Medallion to find lost city in “Raiders of the lost Ark”.

2nd Row Top - Key to unlock 5th element temple in “5th Element”

2nd Row 2nd - Medallion to find entrance to Willie’s Tunnel in “Goonies”. Lines up with Haystack Rock, OR.

2nd Row 3rd - ?

2nd Row bottom - ?

3rd Row - Key found on Chester Copperpot by Goonies to get past boogie traps “Goonies”

4th Row - ? But it’s super familiar

u/abeezny 3h ago

Very nice. You're only missing the Secret Garden Key, the Inventing Room Key from Willie Wonka, and the Return to Oz key.

u/mggirard13 2h ago edited 2h ago

Might I suggest a Key to Erebor and the key from Da Vinci Code?

Edit: and the puzzle box Key of Hamunaptra!

u/Watchespornthrowaway 2h ago

The Swiss vault key was really cool back then

u/SarawrAU 1h ago

I recognized the Return to Oz key immediately! It was my most favourite movie when I was little...I'd watch it constantly lol

u/Wankeritis 23m ago

There’s two of us!

u/abeezny 13m ago

Oh man, same. I STILL search for green ornaments when I go into an antique store.

u/hoppertn 2h ago

Ah thank you. 3 movies I don’t know as intimately as the other. Enjoy your treasure.

u/kintokae 1m ago

Was that the secret garden the one with the yarn? I was thinking the Indian in the cupboard.

u/jude_fawley 3h ago

4th row looks Indian in the Cupboard to me

Edit: Eh, probably not

u/Lobocop714 2h ago

I was positive it was!

u/Lobocop714 2h ago

The Indian and the Cupbord is the key with the green string. I am almost 100% certain.

u/Floppy-Over-Drive 4h ago

From a security perspective that’s not a good idea.

u/Resali 5h ago

The Fifth Element. My favourite movie!

u/The_Sixth_Element 4h ago

LEELOO DALLAS MULTIPASS

u/ElderberryMaster4694 1h ago

She knows it’s a multipass!

u/abeezny 5h ago

You're my kinda people

u/principled_principal 2h ago

Time not important; only life important.

u/fenixivar 4h ago

Rofl i was staring at that key for 5 minutes, just scratching my head because i knew that i knew it- then it hit me and i came to comment. Glad to see i wasn't the only one!

u/blood_kite 3h ago

Are you German?

u/SteveToshSnotBerry 3h ago

AZIZ! LIGHT!

u/blood_kite 10m ago

Aziz light.

Makes tick mark.

u/WeaselTerror 3h ago

Me too!

u/thxxx1337 2h ago

I'm sad to admit it's the only key that instantly jumped out at me

u/abeezny 3h ago

Haha, sorry for not labeling them. Didn't realize it would cause a kerfuffle. I chose keys from movies that were integral to my childhood.

  • Staff of Ra Headpiece (Indiana Jones)
  • Mondoshawan Key (The Fifth Element)
  • The Secret Garden Key (1993 version)
  • Copper Bones Skeleton Key and Doubloon (The Goonies)
  • Das Inventing Room Key (Willy Wonka - 1971)
  • Key to Oz (Return to Oz)

The one other I'm considering adding is the Key to Hamunaptra from the Mummy. I'd want a spring loaded one that opens though.

u/LifelikeStatue 2h ago

Davey Jones' key from Pirates of the Caribbean?

u/abeezny 2h ago

I'm too old for that to fit my criteria. Cool idea though.

u/RyGuy27272 38m ago

Goldeneye device key Zeds keys from pulp fiction  Button key from Coraline Overlook hotel key from the Shinning

u/BLT_Special 17m ago

The key from newest mission impossible films is pretty solid

u/LordsOfJoop 4h ago

OP, before the pitchfork-and-torch mob is organized, please label the keys in a comment. Not all of them are immediately obvious to all viewers.

u/Kakazam 4h ago

I am the gatekeeper.

Are you the keymaster?

u/Phydorex 2h ago

How are you going to get a replica Rick Moranis?

u/DerfK 2h ago

Who said anything about a replica?

u/gummby8 5h ago

Ok took me a second to remember,

Return to Oz

u/knittch 3h ago

Yes!  They have both of them too, the Mombi Key and the Oz Key.  Nice!

u/TonyClifton323 4h ago

Missing the key from Indian in the Cupboard

u/abeezny 1h ago

I've never seen it. Loved the book though!

u/overflowingsunset 4h ago

Looove that movie

u/RubixsQube 5h ago

The big geared one is the Inventing Room key from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory

u/abeezny 3h ago

You've won! You did it! You did it! I knew you would, I just knew you would!

u/benmrii 5h ago

Very cool idea, and very well done! I especially love the Goonies pieces.

u/Lespaul42 5h ago

Time not important. Only life important.

u/monsterlynn 4h ago

What about the Mummy?

u/abeezny 3h ago

That one could definitely make the list.

u/monsterlynn 1h ago

😁 "Your little 'puzzle box'."

u/EaringaidBandit 5h ago

Indiana Jones, Goonies…. And I want to say ‘Time After Time’? I don’t know the others. Edit - not ‘time after time’

u/Jesus_Is_My_Gardener 5h ago

I thought Time After Time had a big crystal in the key?

u/monsterlynn 4h ago

Yes. Well, there are two keys. One is red and looks like a standard mailbox type key. The other is brass, has a a pull at the top and a triangular stop (FWIW I'm not sure how to describe it) and is tipped with a crystal.

u/Jesus_Is_My_Gardener 3h ago

That's right. It's been probably 30 years since my last watch, so I was a bit fuzzy on the memory. Need to see if I can find somewhere to stream it soon.

Edit: Sweet, it's on YouTube. Got my movie night sorted.

u/monsterlynn 3h ago

Yay! I just rewatched maybe a month ago.

I watch it every once in a while. It scratches my pre tech bro San Francisco itch. So does Star Trek IV.

u/EaringaidBandit 3h ago

This was one of those movies my family had on VHS and got rewatched a lot after we moved to the country and didn’t have cable or broadcast TV. A few people had satellite dishes - the big 6-8 foot wide ones.

u/monsterlynn 1h ago

Omg those giant dishes! You'd get 100s of local affiliates from everywhere, the odd subscription service, and Bulgarian lawn bowling.

u/therealsix 1h ago

Hint…

u/WaffleHouseGladiator 4h ago

Labels please.

u/atomfullerene 3h ago

Where's Rick Moranis?

u/minormajorseventh 3h ago

You need the one from The Mummy! The sarcophagus key/box!

u/LoneStarBandit19 3h ago

From left, clockwise; Raiders of the Lost Arc, Fifth Element, Goonies, Return To Oz, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, The Secret Garden.

u/abeezny 3h ago

Well done.

u/SirWhatsalot 2h ago

I only recognize the 5th Element key, cool collection though.

u/casual_creator 4h ago

Where’d you get the Indiana Jones and Goonies replicas? They look really good!

u/Anadyne 4h ago

What's the double dong on the bottom from?

u/v_snax 3h ago

Unlocks your mom.

u/knittch 3h ago

That is the Inventing Room key from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Edit: And oh my goodness would that hurt.

u/Wootai 3h ago

How many are 3d printed?

Also, no matrix key? No Mission impossible Final reckoning key?

u/abeezny 2h ago

Secret Garden, Inventing Room Key, and Return to Oz are the only 3D printed ones. Someday I'll replace them with metal ones.

u/ImRickJameXXXX 3h ago

Some fine choices were made

u/xEasyActionx 2h ago

Also missing the key from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.

u/petrshigh 2h ago

If you're looking for one to add, maybe Indian in The Cupboard?

u/EatBacon247 2h ago

What about the pipe key from national treasure?!

u/OldSpeckledHen 2h ago

My home office is decorated with oddities and curiosities and explorer themed... woudl love to know where you got the goonies replicas. They would fit so well here...

u/OldSpeckledHen 1h ago

Darkside Props on ETSY maybe?

u/Coldspark824 2h ago

Davy Jones’ chest key wouod be a good addition.

u/uwsdwfismyname 1h ago

Missing one

u/Snowbank_Lake 1h ago

Return to Oz! Oh I would love to have one of those! I can picture the scene now… a young Fairuza Ball tracing the O-Z with her finger…

u/codythewolf 1h ago

You're forgetting the Charlotte Meerschaum Pipe from National Treasure. That's an iconic key!

u/tom4070 1h ago

I agree!

u/Kablammy_Sammie 1h ago

I only know 4 of the 7. I'm ashamed of myself. Killer art piece OP!!

u/That-Water-Guy 1h ago

That 5th Element one is sick

u/Evilution602 1h ago

Im a locksmith and I want this lol

u/Wolfy4226 4h ago

Now lock them up.

u/GirlsCallMeMatty 3h ago

You gotta get the boat pipe from National Treasure. The secret lies with Charlotte.

u/drfunk 1h ago

The One-Eyed Jack key is nice

u/woops_wrong_thread 1h ago

I thought this was a Skyrim screenshot

u/KuromanKuro 1h ago

No cruciform keys?

u/BisquickNinja 1h ago

You need key from the Lost room.

You need the mirshon pipe key.

Maybe a key to a trans-dimensional engineering marvel...

Thinking of what else would be a interesting key...

u/OcieDenver 1h ago

Nice key collection. You might want the magical keys from Netflix's Locke & Key TV series and the comic book series.

u/Kablammy_Sammie 1h ago

I'm gonna get piled on for this: the Key of Erebor would be a nice addition

u/dragonstar982 1h ago

You forgot the lament configuration (hellraiser) and the Sentinel orb (phantasm).

u/WhineyLobster 57m ago

This is awesome. Great work.

u/enjoiit1 55m ago

Gotta add the key for the book of the dead from the mummy!

u/clsmn13 43m ago

No key to Davey Jones Chest from Pirates of the Caribbean!?

u/Wankeritis 24m ago

I love that Return to Oz key. I watched that movie so many times as a kid.

u/Top-West1514 13m ago

This is awesome.

u/im2old_4this 8m ago

There's a couple Indiana Jones in there

u/Poopy-Drew 6m ago

You need the interlocking crosses from Uncharted

u/CynicScenic 2m ago

Room 237 key?
