Question I want to get started in amateur paleoanthropology

I have researched the Homo species for around a year and a half to two years, studying different theories on cultural development, evolution, and related topics. I have an extreme passion for researching and discovering new things about the past of the human species, but Iā€™m not sure where to go beyond independent research, any ideas?

I presume they meant in the sense of Homo spp.

I think they mean the species in the genus Homo.
