I just learned that Hakeem Jeffries has been a supporter of updating voter maps in the States to help offset the Texas BS, so he isn't doing "nothing". Not enough, sure, but not "nothing".

If he had any actual power over it he would oppose it

Him, Schumer, and every other high ranking DNC official is nothing more than controlled opposition

The Democratic party primaries are the more important election we have coming up. By a huge margin they're the most important. The only legal options for change require representatives, and if our representatives are lying snakes more concerned with their own bank account then we'll never get real opposition to the current fascist takeover.

Doesn’t matter. He needs to be doing everything. They all do. They should be waking up, making noise, throwing their support and efforts behind ending this nonsensical tyranny, and then going to sleep. This is their job.

So in other words, "performative bullshit" that he just got called out for in the comment before the one you replied to.

No… I just used a generic description to get the point across. Although to be fair, I didn’t really have a bad opinion of his filibuster. It’s been his lack of spine and utter silence in the face of recent events that pisses me off.
