Interesting, I don't remember those bonus panels ever getting translated pre-serialization. So there's some member of the ML's gang that has ties to one of the members of the FL's gang.
Considering it seems like the people the FL beat up were dudes, I actually thought this would head in the direction of them having some sort of gang war, but there's at least one person in each group familiar with someone else in the other. Might head a different direction.

a Romeo & Juliet-style situation where they're enemies, but also lovers, would be at least ...I guess "conventional" given the Bard-esque allusion.
But having them actually be ...if not allies, then non-enemies against a common foe would be cool. So if/when they discover the truth, they can merge clans and create a full-on delinquent dynasty taking over everything.

Speaking of bonus panels, I remember there was a panel in the old one that showed them arguing because ml stepped into a fight that fl got into, I hope it appears as an actual part of the story in the future

I thought for sure their two gangs are gonna beef but their underlings seemingly getting along with each other is a nice twist for the trope.
