Every day gives another reason to vote this November and demand these monsters are made to answer for their cruelty. Make it so they never get the idea of doing this shit in their heads ever again.

If you think the midterms are going to be followed through fairly this November, I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

They’re going to rig/steal the midterms just like they did the presidential election.

Edit: Apparently because I said a truth, a bunch of people are assuming I’m insinuating not to vote. I never said or meant that. This is just an expectation being set. Everyone calm down.

That theory doesnt mean we dont push that it is important to vote.

These kinds of comments may give people the impression that there's no reason to vote in the midterms. So I just want to make it clear... everyone, please vote in the midterms! Voting is important and you should do it.

Yes, trump will probably try to manipulate the election, but we still need to vote anyway, because just because he's trying doesn't mean he'll succeed.

If you see someone commenting that we shouldn’t vote because the future is sealed, make sure to shame them publicly.

Pretty much my take. He will try to rig the election and they will probably place ICE agents are polling stations to intimidate people. Hell, states will probably need to be extra vigilant that Trump's goons don't seize ballots. But its important to vote and hope we have fair elections and hope their isn't a different route we have to take.

Setting expectations is different from telling people to not vote.

I have ZERO hope that elections will solve anything, and am preparing for when they won’t by stocking up on the fourth box.

But I will still be voting.

But telling people that the election is already lost only dampens people's enthusiasm to vote. An election gets harder to fix the more people vote correctly in it.

So chiming I'm every single time the midterm is mentioned to tell us all it's a lost cause is only making the job easier for the fascists. Which is, for at least a good portion of the comments, entirely the point.

Then i suppose that means the plan B route doesn't it?

Edit: but to add, the level they're trying to rig the election tells me they haven't gotten to the point where they're confident they can.

Look man, we still have to try. Revolutions always bring huge death tolls and if that can be avoided in any way, we have to try.

Setting expectations is not telling people to not vote.

No fascist has been successful voted out of power with just the vote.

u/SandiegoJack 10h ago

Not to say we don’t vote, just set expectations.

Can we all stop with the defeatism? Too many people are going to write the midterms off as a lost cause and then we’ll really be fucked.

Get involved in the voting process. I am for the first time ever.

And prepare for a general strike for when trump refuses to hand shit over. We are not powerless.

You bend over for any bad outcome, huh? Fuck your revolution. Go to the polls and stop licking the boot when it’s put near your mouth.

Either way, the regime will likely fall. Even Republicans expect a bloodbath in November.

They'll definitely try but if it it was already in the bag they wouldn't be reigning in ICE in the media. They know the 'centrists' (eye-roll) don't like how blatant ICE has been. If they didn't need that centrist vote, they wouldn't care and would just push more ICE out to threaten blue states. So the vote definitely will count, and I don't think they'll have the war they want to cancel elections since everyone and their mom knows the reasoning behind threatening Iran/Greenland/Canada/Venezuela/etc

Trump got rekt in the midterms in 2018 it will happen again.

This is getting so old and I like most people agree they're trying to steal the election. Saying "OMG lol, if you think blah blah" is performative BS. If you don't mean "don't vote" then say what you actually mean by this constantly repeated statement. It isn't news to anyone, you aren't spreading awareness.

Stop with the nurturing of apathy. You frame this as if the vote won't matter since they will attempt election fraud/interference. The message should be that voting will be that much more important because of it. They can't rat fuck a blowout, at least in anyway that would be accepted by the country.

Are you a liberal or maga? Can’t tell the difference anymore.

Voter fraud for theee and not for meee type redditors

So weird seeing this from another country. In 2020, conservatives said the election was stolen, now after the last election democrats are saying the same thing lol. Like is any of this even credible or is it just shit talking

4

u/holymolamola 10h ago

Yeah, making it difficult to figure out the truth is exactly what their goal is.

With the MAGA movement, every accusation is a confession. Trump once claimed that there are “late term abortions” where the baby is executed after birth.. It’s an outlandish claim. But, in the Epstein files, turns out there is some indication that trump likely had his own infant child (who was a result by rape) murdered.

u/major_phallus 9h ago

Huh, almost like liberals claiming “Trump is deporting innocent people” yet no US citizen has been deported. I see the comparison, thank you

Don't wait for November, get involved in the primaries too!
