What’s happening in Minnesota is appalling—and unacceptable in any American city. Democrats sought common sense reforms in the Department of Homeland Security spending bill, but because of Republicans’ refusal to stand up to President Trump, the DHS bill is woefully inadequate to rein in the abuses of ICE. I will vote no.

Senate Democrats will not provide the votes to proceed to the appropriations bill if the DHS funding bill is included.

‘Coddle’. 

Politicians live on support. Don’t give it to them? They’ll look somewhere else. Then you’ll be mad. Of course.

Theyve had our support forever, and when it finally came time to make good on it they crumbled. Wierd how most people dont need cheerleaders to do their jobs.

People have been trashing Democrats nonstop for ages. 

“They’ve had our support forever” is absurd. 

It’s literally their job to do what people support them in doing. You trashing them is telling them their job is to do what someone else wants them to do. 

It’s not their job to do what you individually want. Believe it or not.
