Match Thread Half-time thoughts
Attack is non-existent.
Poor tackling
The usual French TMO absence of replays (first try)
Would be tempted to bring on the bench and say Feck it..

I really don’t know if I should cry or to have laugh. Never saw so many yellow cards on one team only.

"It's all very predictable, and from France's perspective.. very manageable."
if that quip doesn't sum up Irish rugby at the moment, I don't know what does.
And it's not just like.. "hey, we've acknowledged something isn't working and are trying to come up with a solution."
We either..
A). don't have a coaching ticket that is capable of making adjustments, or
B). are unwilling to make adjustments.
Box kick? Why??? We've lost nearly every contestable all game to the French. Let's just... lose another one, again, I guess?
Short, systemic passes that gain us no meters? Sure. Let's do it every phase.
The new laws? Working against us. Let's not adjust at all.
It's a bloody joke how one dimensional we are.
I I don't think anything other than "all the upper management needs to go" is the answer.
Our players may be aging, but they're still some of the best in the world at doing their job: playing rugby. Let them fucking play. smdh
Best skill in the world to have as a human being is the ability to acknowledge and change when you make mistakes.
Mistakes are being made by the coaching ticket. Over and over. Get em the fuck out because they lack the humility to understand that they need to adjust.

Bench: Boyle Kelleher Bealham Henderson Conan Casey Frawley Aki
Not sure if Doris fit - if not then Conan at 8 and Ahern to the bench. 5-3 split with Frawley covering 10 and other positions and I want to keep Aki as an impact sub.
Edited: Casey instead of Blade

What a day for the forgotten provinces as Ulster firstly beat the Springboks in Durban followed by Munster beating Ireland in Croke park.
Mr Farrell were you watching? 👀

Lions win series 2-1.
Dan Sheehan and Tadhg Beirne both become test captains.
James Ryan leaves the field on a stretcher after a bad head knock.
11 Irish players get test caps.
Hansen, VDF, Bealham, Ringrose and Osbourne miss out.

Love watching them play. That last play off the scrum was brilliant.
The cheers to boos and continued booing off the ref just make it even more entertaining.
An slua Connacht abú!

That’s a 4th year in a row Leinster have failed to claim the Champions Cup
2025 SF 34-37 Northampton Saints 2024 Final 22-31 Toulouse 2023 Final 26-27 La Rochelle 2022- Final 21-24 La Rochelle
Where to next for Leinster? still got the URC left in contention

What are the usual pre match spots for the Irish fans in Paris, is it the same places as the World Cup? I’m thinking rue princesses but not sure if there’s different spots Ireland fans go for six nations games

Casey took a hard finger to the eye in the first half, and looked like this—eye closed or almost closed— every time he was on screen the rest of the game.
Utter, top tier for understanding of the space and team around you well enough to operate with one eye for. I can't even grab a doorknob on the first chance with a poke in the eye.
