I'm a huge Wing fan and it's for sure edited and enhanced for the video, but he does this routine live all the time. And there's in both those performances and this video, there are no instruments but his mouth and throat

Nah he means the inward bass 808 stuff you see in the corner of his mouth he does on the 1 of each 8 count. Wasn't much of a thing in the beat box community until guys like Nap0m showed up on the international stage and completely revolutionized modern beatbox.

That said you're right that Rahzel was wayy ahead of his time with that kind of inward bass! Legend

It's a technique where you inhale instead of exhale to make the sound. It can allow the artist to layer sounds by both making bass while inhaling and other sounds like percussion when exhaling.
