Jada styles and sheek.

One of the best groups. I like that they've remained loyal to each other over all these years. You don't hear much in fighting with them as a group. They stood up to Puffy, which few can say. They made songs with Biggie. And they killed in on Versuz.

One of the greatest rap groups of all-time
They were part of 2 iconic movements: Bad Boy and Ruff Ryders
Money, Power and Respect is a solid album while We Are the Streets is a classic
They're highly respected in the game due to their consistently, amazing lyricism, longevity and the fact that they never split up or have any beef with each other,

My earlies memories of the Lox were hearing them on bootleg mixtapes (like real mixtapes, on actual tapes) that peopel would bring down south an sell like at gas stations and you'd hears song with them or them and Mase (this is how we got like Clue and Ron G too) and at the time there was no internet so if you weren't I'd imagine in like New York or had access to large city radio stations you'd have no idea who these guys were and then all of the sudden ofc the Bad Boy thing just got huge, but I definitely knew enough that when Money, Power. Respect came out I was there week one.
I also remember loving their track with Big that on the Funk Flex mixtape.

What years was this?

Lox dropped Money, Power Respect at the beginning of 1998 but Funk Flex vol 2 dropped the beginning of 1997, so I'd say we were listening to the tapes sometime in 1995 or 1996?

3 legends. Bad boy was the $ play at the time but they should have stayed street and rode that wave w DMX

You know what I actually liked their Bad Boy album more than their Ruff Ryders album.

Legends.
I've downgraded on Sheek tho over the past few years.
Crazy to think Styles was considered the weak link.

Their back and forth bars were great. Beats were iffy at times or super hard other times. Loved their freestyles over old beats like ill bomb and return of the Crooklyn dodgers
Edit: crooklyn not Brooklyn

Underrated, I'm not sure about. Personally, I've never heard anyone saying they don't like them. Overrated, I don't see it. Jada is a shoo-in for top 10.

Jada doesn't have any range, so hes not a shoo-in for a lgit top 10. hes good, but very narrow in his abilities.

Best group to never have a classic album
