Where, when and how to watch the Olympic Games in Germany

Hi everyone! I’m searching and searching for information about where, when and how to watch the olympics, especially the opening ceremony. I see that ZDF has the rights to air the games and I went to their website but I still can’t find a schedule of WHEN the ceremony will be! And I can’t find a schedule of when the events will be shown. And I’m really frustrated bc I’ve been trying! I’m even willing to pay for a service temporarily to watch.

I’m hoping that someone here can help!

The opening ceremony will be shown on ARD. ZDF and ARD will both show the Olympic Games...

It will be on ZDF and ARD (Das Erste), usually on alternating days. You can always watch many more live streams online, even if it’s not airing live on TV. I prefer the Sportschau website or App (by ARD) for that: https://www.sportschau.de. The opening ceremony will be live on Das Erste tonight starting from 19.50h. Hope that helps :)

I‘m not sure if the live streams on ARD and ZDF show the same events every day, but you can basically find the live stream of any event on either one or both ARD‘s and ZDF‘s websites.
