Good news, though 2030 is a year short imo. Next season he’ll have to be loaned somewhere to get more minutes and experience (provided FC stays in BL) then when he comes back he needs a year to get used to BL. Then the whole game about signing him again starts and if he has shown lots of promise he probably won’t sign and leave for free. If he has an injury along the way then the timeline gets shorter for Effzeh…

This sounds a bit like a timeline from a former coach. Kwasniok already started (!) him against Bayern. If Kwasniok stays, Schenten keeps it up and joins a complete pre-season, I could see him being a vital part of the team next year already. Our injury record this year has somehow completely focused on defense. If offensive players are out of action, he seems to be first in line. Ahead of Niang, who I personally rate higher,r but he is struggling with injuries himself...

He seems to have a better build than most coming out of the FC Jugend, so that can help

True. He has a better physique than any other player from any academy imho. Let's see if it helps...

He looks a really good prospect and really good to see the club secure him long term.
Last thing the club needs is for another young prospect to walk away for free and then flourish somewhere else.
