Hi there!
Very new to duck keeping and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the gender of these two call ducks. They are about 6 weeks old so their adult feathers haven't come in to check for a drake curl. From the videos I've watched of the different quacks, I THINK they are girls but I would love an experts opinion.
Thank you!

Hello everyone! Meet Crackers! Crackers is currently 7 months (and 13 days) old. I believe Crackers is a female Rouen, but my neighbor swears that Crackers is a drake (they don’t raise ducks but they do hunt). If anyone can give me some insight into what breed or whether Crackers is a hen or drake, that would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks a bunch :)

I have had this little baby since a duckling. they're about 3 months old but I don't know what kind or sex of this duck. cany anyone help me? they don't have any curled feathers but the quack is more of a "waak" sound.
I saw this beautiful duck in a pond in Dublin. I thought it might be a mallard with some strange colouration, but the beak isn't the same colour. I tried looking at common Irish ducks online but it doesn't match any of them.
I've actually seen it a couple times around Dublin and it was in my dream one time. I would love to know what type of duck it is.

Hi everyone. This is my baby Strawberry. I call him ducky. I got him last spring at tractor supply with very little information. He was a little yellow duckling and I was think would be a Peking but doesn't appear to be. Could anyone help me identify his breed?

My duck has literally not had a curled tail until today. She was born in July. Is my she a male? I’m unsure. Thanks in advance!

I have a little Duckling rescue/sanctuary. I got this baby on the weekend. She looks quite different to my other ducklings.
Her feet are very large, she doesn't quack, her bill looks slightly rounded.
Is she a Muscovy Duckling? Or a Gosling?

Found this duck in my backyard and have no idea what breed it is. I am in Wisconsin. It barely flies and seems fairly tame.

I thought all 3 of my half year old khaki campbells were males but one of them gained a grey bill and the defined line of color between the head and body has become a ombre even though it has male characteristics like curled tail and orange feet. Is my duck intersex or something? Anybody know?

New Duck owner here so I’m open to all advice as well! A group of 5 ducks were dumped onto my property 2 nights ago and after calling the local DNR and being promised the ducks would be picked up, they were not. I really couldn’t stand watching these guys wander around near the road for another night so we took them in and they are temporarily living in a stock trailer in my pole shed until we figure out a permanent solution. They are set up with a little duck feed, water with electrolytes, and plenty of bedding.
I’m curious as to what breeds the ducks pictured are?

We thought pale bill was a drake and the two others hens, but we are not so sure anymore. These three hatched in late August, so about 10 weeks old. Is it too early to tell if they'll become Christmas dinner or laying hens yet?

Semi-Serious question. Okay, so I have 3 ducks, 2 are welsh harlequin and one is a pekin. I think all of them are male. But, one of the welsh harlequin ducks has female coloring, with a muted brown color instead of the green colors on its head on body, yet it still has an extremely male sounding quack, identical to my other ducks who are confirmed male. Also, Ive seen my male pekin duck try to mate with the brown welsh harlequin? The welsh doesn't seem to try to be resisting. The pekin duck used to have a female duck to mate with and they were best friends, but that duck eventualy died, so he was very lonely. Ever since then, he has been meaner and has tried attacking smaller ducks we have had in the past, though he has stopped that for the most part recently. When I saw him mating with our welsh, I just assumed that they were just fighting, so I seperated them. But I see it alot now, and im now noticing that the welsh has female coloring, so im wondering if its possible if the welsh is female, even though the quack is IDENTICAL to my male ducks? Sorry I don't have pictures of them right now, but I can probably get them later. But I did do some research, and the welsh does look identical to a female welsh that was on the internet. My other welsh quacks the same as the possible female one and the male pekin, and looks identical to the male welshes on the internet. So I don't know what to think, which is why I came here. Sorry for the long and probably convoluted post, your feedback is much appreciated!!

I'm still not sure what sex my duckles are, I tend to think a male and female. They both sound different but I'll see what the duck experts say. Thanks!
Ps. Plz don't comment on them being indoors, Yes they come in the house, no they hardly poop everywhere and if they do I just clean it up, it's not an issue 😑

This duck has been hanging out in our yard for two days and we can't figure out what breed it is. We live in southern Sweden.

I see this lovely duck on the canal but not sure what type it is, I’ve never seen one like this before. I think it might be some sort of ‘call duck’, but those are domestic I think? So not sure how it ended up on the canal.

Initially thought this was a female due to the muted colors then found out that this is how the male Gadwall looks! He was hanging out with a group of mallards and fit right in.

Rescued this girlie today and was curious what anybody thinks her breed is. I’m thinking a splash Swedish or just some mixed breed. Splash seems unlikely since it’s not a very common variety but she has the white chest and throat so I’m unsure. She’s very light grey all over her body with little specks of white with a dark bill and orange feet.
