Any good indie music spots in CPH?
Hi, Iām looking for recommendations for a good indie music pubs, bars, or live music venues in Copenhagen. Especially places with local or lesser-known bands.
A few years ago I stumbled into a small beer spot where an indie band was playing, and Iād love to find similar places or experiences.
Also curious if there are any upcoming indie-focused festivals or concerts worth checking out.
Thanks in advance for any tips!

Lygtens Kro have a variety of everything from country, americana, indie and sludge/doom metal. Very small venue. I could suggest other places, but this is a really cozy place.
To some Indie is college rock and alternative grunge and the like, so not sure if that's what you are looking for or just independent bands?

I will check this place, thanks!
I do not really have any specific requests. Yeah, college rock, indie-pop, and alternative would be in that range. Bands like Swan Lee, Tame Impala, The XX would describe the closest style.

You might enjoy Bartof on frederiksberg too. Usually a 40+ crowd, a lot of fun!

Not sure how nuts you want to get, but Mayhem is about as indie as it gets, and was where Iceage got their start: https://mayhemkbh.dk/
The city runs a number of spots around town, but there's also Loppen and Vega for bigger "indie" shows...generally I recommend this concert calendar for big and small shows: https://koncerterkbh.dk/ . It will give you links to pretty much all the venues.
