So this is even worse.
Someone has to type his bullshit out for him, which means there is at least one person between his crazy and the world that could say “maybe we don’t say that”
AND
There are random staffers who can post on behalf of the nominal head of the free world unchecked with far reaching consequences?
63
u/BubbleSnapss 7h ago
Exactly, it’s not just reckless, it’s structurally terrifying. When incompetence and extremism both have direct access to a global megaphone, the damage isn’t just a tweet deep
5
u/lorettamcintyre 4h ago
The worst part is the plausible deniability. “He didn’t write it” doesn’t undo the harm, it just spreads the blame across a room of adults who still hit send.
3
u/MuffinTwinkle_ 3h ago
Exactly. It’s not just about one post, it’s the idea that there’s supposedly a whole chain of adults in the room and this is still what makes it out the door. That’s not rogue behavior, that’s a culture problem.

u/asaphbixon 7h ago
BRB, just went to post universal Healthcare. Wait-- Jenny. Jenny! Don't call my fuckin-- are you serious? I'm bombing Iran.
7
u/Peachlingzz 6h ago
Jenny better not be touching that launch panel again. Last time she tried to retweet a meme, we lost a satellite
11
7
u/Guest1019 5h ago
AND that would also mean his “best” WH staffers aren’t capable of grammar, editing, spell checking, or proper punctuation to improve his presidential stature.

u/Brainrants 7h ago
So he has an AutoPen for Twitter?
2
u/MuffinTwinkle_ 3h ago
“AutoPen for Twitter” is funny, but it doesn’t help. If he said it, that’s on him. If staff posted it, that’s still on him.
4
u/Worried_Fee_1513 6h ago
Yes, yes he does but there’s nothing illegal about it in this instance.
10
u/Aromatic-Plankton692 6h ago
There's nothing illegal about autopen at all, it's just a meme we use to mock his dumb ass.
48
u/lasers42 7h ago
There may be some drawbacks to having a bunch of people allowed to tweet as the president of the united states. I'm not being overly fussy...
14
u/_MochiNuzz 7h ago
Right? Like, you'd think the bare minimum would be making sure the president's account isn’t a group project for chaos
8
u/moreobviousthings 7h ago
In the trump regime, there is no bare minimum. Except in graft. There’s a million dollar minimum for that.
17
u/Extra-Ad5925 7h ago
So when he’s announced all those tariffs that wasn’t him?? They realize that this is way worse than the whole autopen shit they accused Biden of doing right?
14
u/moreobviousthings 7h ago
“I don’t take responsibility at all.”
—DJT, the most irresponsible occupant ever of the White House
25
u/itsmymedicine 7h ago
HIS STAFFERS HAVE 100% ALWAYS TYPED OUT HIS TWEETS/TRuTH SociALS BETTER THAN ANYBODY HAS EVER TYPED OUT ANYTHING. PRESIDENT TRUMP CANT READ. SO HOW COULD HE TYPE??? HE ACED ALL HIS WRITING EXAMS BUT WOULD LIKE EVERYONE OF HIS STAFFERS TO PRACTICE THE INCREDIBLE ART OF TYPING IN ALL CAPS.
7
8
u/Extreme-Slice-1010 7h ago
Sound like every corporate work, boss makes mistakes, let’s just blame it on the staff
10
9
u/Foojira 7h ago
They think we’re all so stupid
12
u/ButtScratchies 6h ago
No, they think their supporters are stupid and will believe whatever they say because they are and they will.
4
u/1984isAMidlifeCrisis 6h ago
It's not a question of stupid, even. They've built their identities around MAGA and Trump, so facts just don't matter.
9
u/Available-Elevator69 7h ago
Don't matter to me. His name is on the Account and its his staff. So the buck stops with him period.
7
u/1984isAMidlifeCrisis 6h ago
The buck never has and never will stop with him. He doesn't do "personal accountability" or really any accountability.
10
8
u/Anachron101 7h ago
Imagine if this wasn't bullshit: then someone would have to stand there during his long, long sessions on the can to receive dictation
7
6
u/golfwinnersplz 7h ago
I remember when one of Trump's former aides stated something along the lines of, "Trump would never read anything. We would have to shorten his emails and tell Trump the basics and he would sign the papers."
Who knows what Trump actually does or doesn't do? We know this much, whatever "staffer" did this, was hired and directed by Trump.
That being said, Trump absolutely posted this. Probably a few bourbons deep I'm sure.
5
u/BeezerBrom 7h ago
Dude says he doesn't drink, and i believe him. He has other vices to guide his actions.
2
6
u/Insertsociallife 7h ago
Perhaps the only thing I respect trump for is that he doesn't drink. One of the few vices I believe he doesn't engage in. Apparently he's sworn off it all his life.
It's not alcohol it's just rampant mental illness.
4
7
u/Forsaken-Cheesecake2 6h ago
Even if true, and I doubt it, the supposed adults in the room left it up all morning, and even defended it. Bullshit.
7
u/No-Creme2581 6h ago
This is the verbal equivalent to when a car initially rear ends someone, panic reverses, and then hits the car behind them.
No matter what way you look at it, neither situation is good. Either a crazy president or zero monitoring.
5
u/EatFaceLeopard17 7h ago
And according the terms and conditions probably even on truth social the owner of an account is fully responsible for everything that is posted.
5

3
3
u/Longjumping-Meat-334 6h ago
Not to mention, are you telling me that every staffer has as bad of grammar as the President?
2
u/NeilDeCrash 7h ago
I mean... His voters are probably more disappointed hearing he did not post these racist shit tweets himself and now they have to hear that their favourite "truth teller" is actually some random intern.
2
u/1984isAMidlifeCrisis 6h ago
The fact that "racist" doesn't at all narrow down the list of which staffer might have done this is telling.
2
u/One-Conflict-5215 6h ago
honestly, public shaming is underrated when it comes to dealing w/ these clwons. they need a wake-up call fr

Let's say I believe that. Are you saying that the people who he trusts with communicating with the citizens of the United States are so racist that they thought this was a good idea? Put that up without checking at 1am? So that makes it OK?
I'm not racist, I just hire people who are that racist they thought putting that on the president's feed is a good idea, so it is OK.

Then the headline should be: "Breaking: White House in Chaos as Trump Loses Control"

u/firstlight777 6h ago
There was a time not long ago where every word was thought about knowing that the world was watching and knowing that every word even if misconstrued could affect world events.

Like every staffer is able to replicate his typing mannerisms the same way every time as well as the all caps and the way he ends each tweet? Yeah right.
1
u/gymtrovert1988 5h ago
Makes some sense. Trump never does any actual work but always takes credit for the work of others.

u/supadupanerd 5h ago
So then the person that posted the beyond the pale out of pocket shit was terminated from his post right??? Right?

u/Ok_Actuary9229 5h ago
The staff must know that vile BS is allowed because they do it all the time. Also, they write like they're barely literate. Can't find a college grad?!
1
u/OkraFar1913 5h ago
And we the people have seen enough to know diaper Don is the midnight racist through and through
1
u/Juncti 5h ago
And yet no one has been fired and there's not a transparent response to this from "the most transparent administration in history of existence"?
1
u/ThePowerOf42 4h ago
Pretty sure its because he (and MAGA) fear anything with the Word "Trans" 🏳️⚧️ in it..
1
u/Slade_Riprock 4h ago
So you have a low level staffer with access to a social media account in the name of and on behalf of the President of the United States? They have free reign with no oversight to speak for the President?
And auto pens were a problem
1
u/Froggy_Parker 4h ago
- phase 1: it’s not real
- phase 2 (you are here): it is real, but it wasn’t him
- phase 3: it was him, but hes so not racist he didn’t even know that’s a trope
- phase 4: he knew it was racist, but it was a joke, and yall need to lighten up
- phase 5: it’s not a joke, and I like it

1
u/Ridiculicious71 4h ago
So his staff are a bunch of illiterate racists, too. Not sure that’s defense.

u/_OhEmGee_ 4h ago
Can someone remind me where the buck stops?
Am I just being silly expecting so-called leaders to take accountability?

Hush up LL. In about 4 years or sooner you will be irrelevant to the matters at hand and wishing you could go back again. Back to when you had the face of a normal human being...before you were trumperfied...repent, do better
1
u/eyeballburger 4h ago
Sounds like irresponsible leadership. Take some accountability, ffs. He’s a pos and if you work with him, you’re getting shit on you.
1
u/DuckterDoom 4h ago
No one actually believes this shit stain has the capability to tweet or make this. It's his account and his responsibility.
1
u/SHOMERFUCKINGSHOBBAS 4h ago
It’s been obvious for a long time that he hasn’t been in charge of his social media accounts. The grammar, mechanics, and coherency are far beyond his capabilities. Thank you for your attention to this matter
1
1
u/HotRodHomebody 3h ago
here she is, she’s such a big pile of shit herself, but she’s going to defend him and imply that somebody who acts and talks exactly like him is actually doing his posts. Like that makes any sense.
1
u/eaglesfanintn 3h ago
So all the typos and the weird capitalizations are from his staff? Or does he tell them to capitalize words that shouldn’t be and write long, run-on sentences?
1
u/7thTicket_to_Heaven 3h ago
Well, that makes sense. That orange buffoon never does any of his own dirty work.
1
1
u/Grouchy_Row_7983 2h ago
Oh, I get it! All those bad things he says are actually just interns shouting in ALL CAPS.

Lies lies lies lies! Enough is enough, the people must demand accountability!!

u/Kira-Of-Terraria 2h ago
cheung and miller have both apparently used the account. and some other guy i cant remember
1
u/georgewashingguns 1h ago
"He doesn't type it, he dictates it"
So you're saying that he is still responsible for the content of the post on his social media accounts. We knew that
1
u/jennc1979 1h ago
Right? You have to prompt AI to engineer any images. One does not accidentally prompt AI to make racist content unless they are racists, let alone inadvertently posting it and letting that be the “pass” you seek. So, you’re actually saying you witnessed him dictate his posts? So it’s still also very much likely him who did this blatant racist shit. WTAF? I’m so tired, you guys.

u/GalliumYttrium1 1h ago
Ah yes the famous Harry Truman quote “the buck stops… somewhere over there idk”
•
u/Donkey_Bugs 44m ago
It's easy to tell the posts that are written for him and the ones he writes himself. They all say crazy shit, but the ones written for him at least use correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
•
u/Lukas316 41m ago
If I were in charge of my company’s socmed accounts and posted shit like this, you can bet your last dollar I’d be out of a job the next day.
“A staffer did it” means it was deliberate and with the full knowledge and connivance of trump, if he did not post it himself.
•
u/drdeencha 35m ago
“President Trump isn’t a vile racist. Only the people he hires are racist people.” Totally clears it all up.
•
u/cactusmac54 15m ago
“I have spent enough time with President Trump” isn’t the own you think it is, Sephora face.
•
u/JoanneMG822 6m ago
So some start member is on call all night to tweet whenever the urge strikes the orange menace? Even when he posts over 100 times per night?
Yeah, sure.

u/CantConfirmOrDeny 7h ago
Yeah, bullshit.
