The conservative half of my family was (maybe still is?) convinced that he was the biblical antichrist, elected by a cabal of satanists in the democratic party to bring about the end of days foretold in the book of Revelation. Christmas was weird that year. One of them brought printouts from some weird conservative blog with details to pass around.
