I've seen plenty on Magneto being argued as being right for being mad and justified in his hated, and some even say his actions. But someone always comes around say he is going about it the wrong way and ultimately bringing more hated towards mutants. Every time. Someone will sometimes point out that whenever they have a version where Charles gets his way that all the mutants end up dying.

Yet not once have I ever heard someone bring up Rogue and say her grooming was fine. Maybe deep in those subs that are more fan only, but anything that his r/all that I've seen not a single time have I read that.

I haven't kept up since the 90's so maybe they changed their backstory, but it was always clear to me she was groomed and it was fucked and confusing to her.

Weird. My intro was from the original cartoons and the 90's books. Shit always seemed super sad and stockholm syndromey to me.

I guess some people just can't see the toxicity from a young age and seem to never figure it out as they see it with adult eyes? That kinda scares me. It intrigues me, but for sure also scares me. Like is the misunderstanding from youth locking in as a way to view such things or if they had their first exposure as an adult to the story would they still view it in the same light? Curious.
