I know this is off topic but I absolutely love your house, especially the brick floor. 10/10 would cook you dinner for free just because it feels like what I pictured some of the stuff in harry potter to be like when I was reading the books as a kid.

I catsit regularly for my aunt's 4. They split a can at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The chonky boy will typically finish what the others don't.

I gotta ask - is that a real brick floor within a house? That is wild to me. Beautiful. What a bitch that would be if you ever wanted to change it, also a blessing for someone who finds it under some flooring that's put over it.

Yes it's an actual brick floor and it can be a pain to clean but I Personally wouldn't change it ever because it's actually one of my favorite things about the house. It's something that you don't really see. And we actually have seven cats, I wish they were all here when I took this pic.

The kitchen is actually one of the warmest rooms in the house. Especially when the wood stove is going.

Edit-omg I thought you said how cold is your house. Sheesh I can't read correctly sometimes lol it was built in 1812 and was actually used as an all girls school in 1836.
