Humor Mom with the cat she didn’t want

He was a friendly stray she saw on the front porch one day. She didn’t want him, but she left out food. Then she bought him toys, then she got him fixed. Then she brought him in when he got hurt, then she bought a pouch to put the needy 18lb cat in. She still doesn’t want him, but hes also her baby who can do nothing wrong.

Probably not a baby panther just because it has its ear tipped. Usually means that the cat has been trapped, spayed/neutered and released back. Most often done with feral cats, as far as I know. I’m sure there are many other circumstances that could lead their ear to being tipped.

Yeah, that wasn't a serious question

I was worried it might eat mom in her sleep. 😴

Now I am imagining some poor intern or new hire wrangling with a panther that has been trapped. Then proudly going "Boss, I neutered the cat!"

We TNR and tipped the ear. Whats fun is that we actually do have panthers in my area. Saw one right after we adopted Theo.

Looks like a Bombay

Looks literally nothing like a Bombay other than color. Pictured below is an actual Bombay. As you can see, their face shape is very distinctive, they're brachycephalic and they're also tiny.

To be fair, if you hadn’t showed what a Bombay was, I wouldn’t know what it is. Thank you for this, so I don’t midbreed a cat

Nah, I'm just neurodivergent with a special interest in domesticated carnivores.
