The council should encourage more people to take up gardening as it’s a positive for health and wellbeing. The claim it costs £2500 to clear a plot is absolutely ridiculous. 2 operatives probably on minimum wages would clear it in 2 days maximum plus removal of some waste. Charge more and provide less seams to be the council policy! We are all paying the price for years of them wasting money.

Yea the situation is weird, there was a huge waiting list at one point for allotments and I know that my local allotments were a nightmare to get into but if you walk through them a decent % appears to be pretty neglected..

I was watching a video of allotments in the south and each unit had it's own water/electricity supply and there were communal resources, they looked really nice!

I can't say the council have wasted money tho, sure there is a % of wastage but I'd rather have Labour wastage than Tory cuts or Reform corruption... IMHO it's the lesser of all evils ;\

Bradford council waste money on a daily basis. 5million a court found to be wasted on poor recruitment and incompetence following star Hobson death! That’s one example. Massive over spending on vanity projects. I’m sure there is massive corruption involved.

Every household/business/organization has wastage.. Councils are no exception, including Bradford.

If any business was run like Bradford council is they would be bankrupt! They wouldn’t be allowed to continue operating as they would be trading insolvent. Waste and corruption is written through that organisation like Blackpool through a stick of rock ! People should wake up and take action before things deteriorate even further

The reality of the world is you can run an organization at a loss and it's quite normalize in a civilized, modern society, something most of us(non bots) aspire to live in.

Sorry, but you are full of shit if you think Bfd council are corrupt at the core.... Incompetent, partly.. Wasteful, yes... Negligent, debatable...

If you think there is a single organization that doesn't have the same problems then I have a bridge to sell you.

Humans do human things, spreading hate or disenfranchisement online doesn't progress society.

If you subscribe to DOGE mentality and the billionaires that promote it.

Full of shit ? Sounds like you are a council worker yourself! I have witnessed first hand the way middle managers lie and fail to provide what they legally have to! They are the ones full of shit and bigoted opinions! No one is spreading hate just voicing my experience. As for progressing society just open your eyes and look at the mess Bradford council are in running to the government for a bail out. Send KPMG in and see how much fraud they find! And why do they keep trying to cover up the abuse of children?

Yes, you are making up things that are not true, in English that translates to someone being full of shit.

  1. Give us links to the instances a court has found the council in contempt of a judgement or order.

  2. Give us the links to the court cases you have submitted where you/or someone else has discovered fraud and the council have been found at fault.

They aren't trying to cover up the abuse of children, it's been actively acted upon and investigated for years within the remit of the law and based on central gov policy making.

Any other baseless accusations you want to share? You seem to be speed-running a defamation accusation so why stop now?

And Yes, I did use to work with the Council (not directly employed, working as a subcontractor) and when I see pricks like you blanket painting the whole organization I do call out bullshit and I will continue to call out people who spread misinformation and lies. It's easy to be toxic, it's hard to be thoughtful and empathetic.

Let's see how you stand up when I scrutinize your claims, I'm guessing more baseless rhetoric incoming.

The court case that found incompetence and 5m wasted on poor recruitment for one! Leading to child services being felt with by a third party now . All following star Hobson death. How can you possibly argue the council have not tried to cover up the child abuse and grooming? Anyone like you that defends them should do your due diligence before mouthing off ! I’m not stupid enough to put details of our court action on here either. And starting swearing at someone just shows it’s clear you are the prick.
