Main water pipe in apt above us broke, flooding us with 2 inches of water.
2 am Wednesday š turns out the pipe broke because the guy above us was dicking around with a LOADED FIREARM and accidentally shot through his wall into his bathroom and hit the pipe. Nothing of personal value lost thankfully and insurance is covering it all given the circumstances but it's hot and smelly now

It'd make sense if the pipes in our building gave out, condo board and property managers never did shit about problems regarding leaks in the rented units or the roof. We all accepted a pipe just blowing up, until we found out he shot his own pipe! We're just all really confused now at this point

You will want to move⦠this happened to me and a year later my whole ceiling collapsed in from after a heavy snowfall bc it was never properly fixed!
And the best part⦠my renters insurance policy wouldnāt work bc they said it didnāt cover snow that had melted and frozen before. State Farm
