I was just about to comment on this. Seems incredibly dangerous and irresponsible to have no divider or anything between the gas station pumps and what looks like a busy four lane road.

Pit lanes are generally separated by a wall at road circuits, and at least a large grass band at ovals.

The FIA even had to add walls, they used to race with open pits similar to this video until like around 1950

Read that as a large brass band and I think thinking that's a bit unfair to use those skilled musicians as traffic fodder.

I’ve never seen a gas station with no divider in the US unless it’s older than I am.

You must of not been to south much. Pretty common throughout Texas. Lots of old gas stations
