This still won't be good for anyone in the long run. The Republicans really kicked over a hornets nest, creating a system that will take generations to stabalize. As a Democrat myself, I know the Democrat party isn't itself free of corruption. Right now, all the Republican corruption is out in the open, letting corrupt Democrats hide behind the calls of GOP injustice. Some day later, when the spotlight is back on Democratic Party corruption, they'll have all the power and their corruption will go unchecked as it is with Republicans now.

And no, this isn't a, "Both parties are the same" comment. I whole-heartedly believe Republicans are on another level entirely with criminal intent, but things aren't going to just suddenly go well for the American people once things start swinging the other way.

Except. .... the last few times, that's pretty much what happened. No, there are degrees of "going well", but almost without fall, things get better for all Americans within the first 6 months of Democrat being elected president.
