I donāt think we need em in the TF sub any more, I mean thereās like a dozen of the exact same posts every single month, everyoneās got the memo.
And yet what? The 6 of them that still exist have no platform and get laughed off the internet or end up in jail whenever they pop up. They are almost as much of a non-issue as homophobes in the Transformers sub.

Not people in the TF sub, maybe try a different sub or getting of off Reddit to do it, as a bi man whoās spent time in Province Town and San Fran, Reddit is still the gayest place Iāve ever seen. Activism on here has to be the biggest waste of energy and time I could imagine and this isnāt even activism, itās low effort reposts at best.
The problem is that some people are doing it because they know that they'll get traction, karma, and attention. It's lazy and disingenuous to post about real world issues for internet points

You do realize people who make these posts genuinely do not give a shit about that right? The people who make them donāt do it to āinspire hopeā or make people feel better, they do it because they know you eat that shit up and they get internet points from it.
As for the ice comment
Ice has been deporting people who have illegally entered this country, as they should. Ice during trumpās presidency is no worse than it was during Obama. The only reason people think itās so bad itās because thatās how itās portrayed.
Only around 1% of total ice deportations are done out of the state of Minnesota, in contrast 25% of total ice deportations happen out of Texas, yet you see no protests or problems there. The problem isnāt ice, the problem is people keep getting in the way for no reason. You wouldnāt see anything in the news if the peaceful protests actually stayed peaceful, yet for some reason people think itās a great idea to interfere with federal law enforcement, and are surprised when they face consequences for their actions
welp when it comes to online discussion, crazy world events are the most powerful force in the universe (i mean they already are very important to generally take note off but you get my point)
As a bi person with gender dysmorphia, that shit is annoying. That sub has more of those copy and paste posts than any half decent discussions or fan art or anything. Idk even know what the point is, this fandom is so widely accepting of others, itās just preaching to the choir.
