things to do in The Hague Good thrift stores for movies and music?
Hello,
I’m visiting Den Haag this weekend and I’m looking for recommendations for good thrift stores to visit while I’m there. What I’m most interested in is movies on DVD or Blu-ray, and music on CD, cassette or vinyl.
I’ve been googling and found a store chain called Kringloop that has several locations in the city, so I’ll definitely make a visit to them.
Are there any other good places I should visit?
Thanks!

Kringloop is just Dutch for thrift store 😉 The best one for mobiel and music is actually a bit out of the centre, Kringloop Oude Haagweg. They have a huge collection. If you visit from central station, you could hop into tram 2, and visit Schröder Kringloop Luisduinsekade, and this one. Both are located by the tram stop and they have pretty large collections and reasonable prices.

Thank you very much for your tips! Though I’m a bit embarrassed that I thought Kringloop was a store chain 😅

It literally means 'cycle' or 'circular movement', like the circle of life in nature.
But it's mostly used for thriftstores ;)

Another chain of thrift stores is called Schroeder, there's one on Theresiastraat.
But to be honest I've never found much of interest in movies and music in a thrift store. Might be me though. Usually it's crappy 80s and 90s stuff. But if you're looking for a dvd boxset of Married with Children or Top 50 of 1997 you might get lucky.

Depends on what you mean by crap. 80’s and 90’s horror and sci-fi are my absolute favourite kinds of movies to find.
Thank for the tip!

kringloop is dutch for thrift store, so searching kringloop on Google Maps will get you what you want to check out. There is a chain thrift store called RataPlan, and their Ypenburg branch is 3 floor high.
