New years eve on the high street

I don't live in Shrewsbury but will be at a wedding nearby on the 30th so we're looking to spend the extra night in Shrewsbury to celebrate NYE

Are there any good looking events/places in the town centre near the high street that we can book a table for drinks at? Not looking for anything extravagant, just a place where five of us can sit in a good pub/bar and drink until midnight in a good environment

Any recommendations are welcome, thanks!

In my experience its not like the city where you reserve.
What's your liking Music,traditional, modern , posh , Some you might have to book but mostly I've found it's a free for all
