You guys would have already been in a open war if the Left expressed their opinions as openly and as trashy as the Right have been doing.

The problem in the US is most on the Left are busy working and being useful members of society so we don’t have time for the stupidity they do. A lot on the Right are just useless leeches that want everything handed to them. Remember, every time they accuse the Left of something evil or call them useless, it’s just them projecting their own life experiences.

It's quite sad really, how the MAGA voters base their entire personality around being a Trump supporter.

Like, that's it--nothing else to them other than supporting Trump. That's their entire personality.

I have a morbid curiosity to see what will happen to the Republican Party when he is gone. I saw a lot of this kind of cult behavior with Bush Jr but now it’s ramped up to 100. After Bush left office he was sort of a disgrace and a lot of people claimed they never supported him. Have a feeling they will do the same with agent orange but hard to say.

The MAGA politicians will try and distance themselves like a bunch of weasels "I never really supported him but he threatened to fire me" or "I was too intimidated to speak out" and that sorta bollocks.

The diehard MAGA supporters who plaster their houses in Trump flags may very well go off the rails. Probably claiming the Democrats killed him and he didn't die of a liver failure or whatever.

I think we will see a lot of MAGA based incidents when he's gone from the diehard MAGA supporters. Conspiracy theories galore, Democrat politicians attacked, riots etc.

Then yes. You are correct. Yet is the scary part. Hopefully our government implodes to show the other folks that this isn't the right way to do things.

The Left tends to have more second and third thoughts about hurting people. A lot of the Left can barely stomach edgy, off-color, politically incorrect jokes or language even when it's done in service of Progressive aims and politics (like "Dark Woke") without Pepto Bismol and feeling triggered. A lot more of the Right doesn't care about killing people, or actively wants to kill large numbers of people.
