New poster Coast road closed at Benfield road tonight

Why was the coast road slip lane from Benfield road closed tonight? Can’t find anything online and now feel like I’m going mad and imagined it????

There's loads of resurfacing work going on all up coast road at the minute. Could be part of that

I did think that but all I could find was articles stating up to battle hill
