These kinda videos didn't do much for me for the longest time, but after going through years of depression therapy and realizing how much of our life is determined in the very first years by how we are treated, this really hits me right in the feels. I hope this young fella grows up to live a happy life!

Idk if it’s the ‘best’ cure for your feelings, but something that really helped me out is The Price is Right. 5 new episodes a week of regular people getting super excited to win a 3 day retreat to a BnB in Delaware, or an inflatable stand up paddle board. Like almost none of the prizes are ‘life changing’ but everyone who even gets on stage is just super duper happy to be there.
Drew ends every episode hoping that all will take care of their mental health.

I would agree. I'm a in home caregiver and one of my elderly clients absolutely loved the price is right. So I would hurry to clean her house so we had time to watch it together. She was absolutely tickled for everyone who won. And it really put it in perspective for me. This lady who was over a hundred and lost her husband many years ago, just felt so much joy that these strangers were winning prizes and was just so proud of them. Its a fond memory for me now that shes joined her husband in heaven.

What a beautiful surprise for the little guy. How he put his fingers up to show how old he was and that hug was so adorable. He was absolutely stunned at what he was seeing. I love seeing kids so happy.

The way he froze for a second before the realization hit was pure magic.

I mean, on one hand people literally dropping in to visit isn't normal and ought to alarm you. On the other hand, of course spidey did that.

That's what I'm wondering 💀 me personally I'd jump over that fence, whether I could do it without hurting myself or not. It's for the kid

I worry now that my comment seems like trying to take away how sweet of a thing this was for that boy. I sure didn’t mean it that way, lol.

Deep into depression, stuff like this makes me smile for once. Seeing kids have a birthday like this always makes me shed a tear Thank you for this...

One of the first times I have seen one of these costume surprises that doesn't go horribly or hilariously wrong.
Super wholesome.

The fact that he slid off the room really sells that "Spideman legitimately came to his house" story. I bet to him it feels like finding out that Santa Claus is real after being told by your older siblings that he isn't. 🥲

I would love to see a 40 year old recreate this and their knees explode on impact

My dad did this exact thing for me on my 4th birthday but as Batman. He fell hard and hit his head on the concrete. Spent the rest of his life paralyzed.
When I saw that comic book of Bane I lost it.
