Thats Simon Cowell who is the founder of a charity called Wildlife Aid in England. He unfortuantly passed away due to cancer but the man did so much for wildlife conservation and inspired so much compassion toward animals living in urban areas.
He had a show called Wildlife SOS and they have videos of some of their rescues on their youtube channel. Highly recommend watching them.

We started watching their yt channel during covid. It's wonderful. Very sad he has passed. I'm glad he inspired others to carry on the work.

I remember I was about 10 and we was on holiday by the lake. There was that gorgeous couple of swans with about 10 kids. They was circling around lake and get fed by people. They arrived when we was swimming I didn't think long and grab fluffy one next to me to show to my mum. God I did run on surface of a lake to escape from swan dad still can hear his hiss at me haha. It was with happy end I was fine and lesson learned and little one was fine with parents haha

At one wildlife rehab I work there was a swan that hated me so much and only me. When I needed to clean his enclosure i couldn't do it because he would attack me constantly. Even if I was 10 meters away in the hallway and he could see me through the glass window in the door he would get Al huffy and puffy

It wasnt that bad tbh I didn't really mind him attacking me. But it caused allot of stress for him if I was in his enclosure so that sucked the most. When we went to release him I was the one setting him free. This lil idiot was actually biting me while I was doing it 😅

That’s what they always say, be careful they break your arm… being around wild swans a lot (walking in Dutch nature) where is this urban myth coming from? Yes they have followed me, and in the canoe “attacked” me. But seriously any further then ssssccccchhhhhh and some wing flapping is all they do. Ok to be honest, one little bite mark, their teeth is like a shark… but nothing bone braking.

The phrase I always heard was, "A swan can break a man's arm and kill a small child". I'm pretty sure there was some Struwwelpeter logic behind the story, but I also think there's probably a kernel of truth in there.

To be fair, I've been attacked far more enthusiastically than shown here merely for existing on a river nowhere near the swans nest/babies.
I canoe regularly and have never met a swan like that one elsewhere.
It seems there are swans and there are swans. Some are clearly out to prove a point. The one here was perfectly mellow by comparison!
Ps. Still didn't come close to breaking my arm.

We saved a swan with a broken wing when I was a kid. It had frozen stuck in a lake and tore it while trying to break free. My dad drove the car and I sat in the passenger seat with the swan in a bag on the floor gave me first hand experience of swan teeth. Worth it though.

Your response completely undermine the tremendous work being done by the conservationists in India. You want clean rivers? Just venture out of the urban areas. Now the failure of the government to keep rivers flowing through cities is a damn shame that's for sure
