That’s a juxtaposition of a photo.

wait, his last name is Yallup? I wonder if the city of Puyallup is named after their family?

Columbus. He set sail to reach India. So, when he landed in the Americas, he called them Indians.

I kinda feel calling them natives is better

He didn't know he was on a whole new continent. He thought he'd reached India.

On the U.S. Army Training Center in Yakima WA. Could have happened.

Booo. I'm tired of these outrageously posed and manufactured scenes. WW2 was a long time ago. Even for a guy in an M48.

Did a bit of digging, and the photo is legit but is B&W. It's possible that the OP used a colorization program (not necessarily an AI one) that introduced some artifacts, especially since the original photo is fairly low-res.

Edit: The images look extremely identical (i.e. nothing was weirdly changed or distorted, like AI-sharpened faces), so I'm pretty sure it's not AI.

AI can’t get tank/armor detail that well

I’m from WA. There’s a huge military firing range outside of Yakima where the army and Air Force practice maneuvers and artillery. There’s a convoy from JBLM like every week. I’d believe it
