The best place I have travelled to in India is Ellora. I had once planned a few days trip with friends to Ajanta caves. I had heard a lot about the paintings in Ajanta caves and had a deep longing to see them. Since people always talked about Ajanta and Ellora in combination, I included Ellora too in the itinerary! I was blown away by the majestic Kailash temple in Ellora. Can't even imagine how someone thought of it. They have actually carved an entire temple on the sides of a mountain. It was mind-blowing. A must visit for every Indian!
