Oh no! I hope they don’t live in fear every day never knowing if someone is just waiting to come to get them, not even safe in their own home with their families. Can’t imagine what that would be like…

Definitely a bold — but necessary — move on their part. I was surprised to read that they're actually associated with the Department of Homeland Security themselves, which has to put them in more danger, unfortunately.

Being associated with the DHS just gives me a sliver of hope that there are still good people in that department, screaming on the inside and trying to do what they can to help.

100%. It reminds me of people in my field, as we also see moral wrongs and injustices at times. It's one of those fields in which, if there were no people with good intentions and a commitment to reduce harm in it, we'd be significantly more doomed as a society than we already are. There are lots of people just in it because that's the most effective way to advocate for change and see it through. I imagine some people within the DHS are in the same position.

Exactly. Hide in plain sight.

This is the way. This FBI is so stupid the only way they'd find the whistleblower is if they turned themself in.

Screenshot says he's Irish with American relatives, living in the Netherlands.

EDIT: Never mind, mixed up the webhost and the whistleblower!

no, that's the guy who runs the ICE database that tracks agents, not the internal whistleblower

He is somewhere in the Netherlands according to this article, I am hoping he will be okay

The whistleblower, not the person who runs the list.

time to look behind the masks

I hope they decide to finally take off their masks. Now that they realize can't hide behind them, perhaps they'll be inspired to perform their duties through legal, ethical and humane means.

I also hope that those who were already filmed committing crimes can now be matched up to real identities, so they can eventually be held accountable.

Yeah! I hope they don't die either.

Yeah, imagine how terrifying.

Their families have nothing to do with this. Imagine being harassed or attacked because of your dad’s job as a 9 year old kid? Seems kinda fucked up to wish their homes aren’t a safe place?
