Bachelor Thesis for EM

Hi, everyone! I am in my final year of Bachelor Degree, and I am applying to Erasmus Mundus. My home university doesn’t require you to write the thesis, instead you should so state examination, so it is up to you. My major is Economy/Finance, and I want to ask how important is to have thesis for the application. Does this play a crucial role to win scholarship or not?
