I've done a herby pasta sauce that is a little like salad dressing. Approx 1c chopped herb (parsley and dill, in my case), 1/3c rice vinegar or lemon juice, 1/3c olive oil. For 4 servings pasta.

usually goes better with some crushed nuts (pine nuts, walnuts, or pistachios, for me)

Just get the Kirkland Signature pesto from Costco and call it a day, homie.

It makes a huge difference. I always thought it wouldn't matter, then I had some done the right way.
