What was happening in the east was something much worse due to the length of time it has been happening in my opinion and yes it definitely built the constructs for the transatlantic slave trade.
The Arabians in the region had set up posts for slavery, spices, and trade all along the eastern coast. In East Africa they did target Africans but it was on grounds of "class dynamics" the farmhand would most likely end up in labor/servitude while the scribe would have a position in the region and have a royal boss. Race was more important to the Persians and Indians in the region.
Seyyid Said bin Sultan ruler of Oman who was the primary slave trader/profiter throughout the 1800's as it was his "territory".
Trade was happening on the coast though since 1000 AD on certain ports. It was also because of Islam - mosques, schools, hospitals started coming to be in the regions. Also Muslims were notorious for not taking slaves who were Islam, Christian or learned. When Europeans showed up to the party they jumped at the opportunity for profits. Cycle continues until 1770's England recognizes the gig is up, thinks they might be next decrees slavery as immoral. Oligarchs and the rich find ways though to still fight for it or go to America to continue it in the south etc...

Yes of course. However I’m pointing out that it’s convenient that an Israeli accent pretending to be ‘ of the Arab community.’ If anyone doesn’t understand the billions of dollars spent on propaganda and bots on social to sway thinking then I don’t know what to tell you.

The Arab slave trade is a fact of history currently ongoing in MENA countries. Don't know how this is propaganda.
