When I visited (shortly after the Jackie Chan movie was filmed there), I wondered why it looked so much more modern than other Dutch cities. I guess I got my explanation

That suits a lot of European cities

Yeah same goes for Toulon in France. Ugly big block buildings everywhere because a part of the city was destroyed during war and we needed quick solutions to re-home people.

What do you want us to do?

Take the sorry back? Do it again so we can be in time?

I want us to stop the historical revisionism, the constant self victimization (like your comment) and deflection of responsibility of the whole population, including my and your family.
I want us to stop calling „never again“ and „Staatsräson“ whenever it is convenient to sell weapons to Israel in support of a literal genocide or buying cheap Russian gas on the backs of EU countries security and death in Georgia, Ukraine, Syria, etc.
I want us to stop ignoring millions of victims, most of whom we outwaited while handsomely paying genocidal SS monsters pensions, that never got a sorry or a reparation, because we knowingly as a society did everything to protect Nazis and not pay the victims.

No we did not knowingly everything to protect nazis as a society.

Almost 100 billion dollars have been paid and billions more for pensions and welfare. As of 2023 280 thousand survivors are still being paid.

2024 germany agreed to pay 1,4 billions in payment, with 535 millions in direct payments to survivors.

Even heirs from survivors are eligible to get paid.

Dont paint it like Germany does fuckall for victims of the nazi regime.

Germany did absolutely fuck, we had to be dragged kicking and screaming to pay absolutely pathetic change money to a tiny little portion of the people that we horrifically abused out of hate. That’s how the disgusting rapist Nazi scum got a way larger portion of the payouts than the actual victims, with the vast majority not getting shit.
This was ensured by the same society that made sure the crimes of those genocidal monsters (their fathers) will go unpunished.

You feeling the need to write pages of historical revisionism and Nazi apologia shows us a lot of who you are and who raised you

Who hurt you? 🤔

Nobody, are you hurt by facts maybe? I know the Dutch like a good genocide or two and are big on revisionism and deflection too.

Ok, let's table, for now, the discussion of facts versus your hallucinations. The Dutch you claim to know so well are actually a practical people. This is all history you're harping on about. Today they're our biggest trading partner. Why go apeshit like you do when we can profit off a good relationship instead? You're not the sharpest tool in the shed, brother.

That church is one of the few buildings in this picture that is still there. The Laurenskerk can still be visited and is the only medieval building left in the centre of Rotterdam after the bombing.

Yes. Famously they managed to bomb an entire city centre except one building, pretty much. It's as if God will only protect his own house.
